Today was my birthday. I work with a special needs lady who is also deaf. Neither of us can wear a mask because she can only read lips. We were welcomed in and treated like we had tremendous value to their business. I explained to our server that my friend could not hear him with his mask on. Every time after that when he came to our table he lowered his mask so she could see what he was saying. His kindness and compassion was second to none! He then brought the bill and he had gifted us our entire lunch! My client was in tears at the kindness we were shown. I wanted to hug that young man. A birthday i will NEVER forget. We each had the shrimp tacos. It was delicious. I highly recommend The Mr Mikes in Airdrie. Their food is terrific but their kindness is outstanding!
